This series was based off existing masterpieces with an Asian American twist to them. I found a strange and simplistic beauty in extending Asian American representation to commonplace objects so many of us grew up with.

I visited Utah’s Mighty Five, which includes Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Zion. I brought my moleskin to collect National Park Passport Stamps for each park and illustrated Utah’s amazing rock formations and geology.
I travelled around Japan in March 2016 in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara. I took my moleskin around to capture my daily travels.
